Resourcing trip to Te Araroa.. Day 2 continued

Kia ora everybody,
I don’t know whats up with our weather today but it went from hot, to hard out rain shower and now its back to nice as if nothing happened..lol.. hope you’re enjoying wherever you are..

Here’s a look at our last afternnon up the coast.. we we’re blessed enough to go and check out the local gallery in Te Araroa and see where Mr Jack Brooking has the leisure of working most days and we even got the opportunity to work on some pounamu taonga – gifted by Jack.

On our way home we stopped in Tolaga Bay to check out some of Jacks’work – he carved these pou that were installed at the time of the Transit of Venus last year… we along with Lisa thought they were pretty choice… thank you all for your manaaki and guiding us around your homeland.

What a beautiful way to spend the weekend – with great people, great surroundings and an awesome way to wind down the end of the year.
